Sammamish

Sammamish is a hidden gem in the Pacific Northwest. With its beautiful views and serene atmosphere, it's no wonder this small town has been called one of the best places to live. Located on the plateau of this picturesque area with its rolling hills and lakes to reflect at you from every direction - it's difficult not to be captivated by what lies ahead!

The city is situated on the shores and hilly terrain east of Lake Sammamish. It has a variety in its environment, from forests near Issaquah to snow-capped mountains that border it downwind towards Bellevue. The two biggest lakes can be found here as well - Beaver Lake holds much fish, while Pine Lake offers more than ample area for boating activities like rowing or canoeing (or even renting!). It borders to the south by Issaquah, northwest by Redmond, west across it too.

Two separate districts serve Sammamish's public school system. North Sammamish residents are a part of the Lake Washington School District, which provides them with numerous opportunities for education and advancement in their field at an early age; meanwhile, South Samians have access to Issaquah Schools. 

It has three major north-to-south roads that connect it with State Route 202, providing access into Redmond or Issaquah, respectively. 

Sammamish is a city brimming with parks. Beaver Lake Park, Big Rock Park, and East Sammamish are just three of its many beautiful green spaces that offer respite from bustling urban life on the other side! The Ebright Creek Preserve provides nature lovers an opportunity to enjoy hiking through natural resources, while Evans Creek preserve makes for great camping spots or picnicking areas during warm months. 

The Saffron Plaza is a 50,000 square foot mixed-use development that includes Sammamish Café and EvergreenHealth businesses and apartments.
